The unit was generally well equipped, especially the kitchen. It is in an excellent location for sightseeing.
The larger bedroom of the two was lacking bedside cabinets. There was a large clock on the wall that wasn't working. It would have been better to have a mirror there as there was no mirror near an electric socket. I had to move the full length mirror every morning just to be able to see to blow dry my hair. Although there was a TV in the smaller bedroom there wasn't one in the larger one. Also, there was a large cobweb above the bed.

Beautifully appointed, clean , spacious accommodation in a quiet rural location
Slightly disappointed with the garden area & view, due to the overgrown hedges, etc.

Lodge was spotlessly clean inside, felt like we were first people to ever stay there, it was very comfortable and well equipped.
Thank you for providing fans, much appreciated.
Lovely extra little touches like chocolate and biscuits.
Really enjoyed listening to the different birds.
Met owners daughter's who was extremely polite and lovely, and the great Dane was so friendly and gentle that even my son who doesn't like dogs was fine with!
The outside areas could be a bit more aesthetically pleasing - appreciate it's a working farm but the garden would benefit from a spruce up. The patio furniture cushions were badly stained and quite a bit of bird poo on the furniture, slabs etc which I appreciate is hard to control. Also not sure how the BBQ would work but we didn't want to use it so not a problem.
