Fabulous room, with lovely decor and superbly comfortable bed. Very clean. Lovely little pub downstairs. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.

The only issue was some noise from other rooms during the night. The walls and ceiling seem quite thin, but it’s an old property so not really surprising. It certainly wouldn’t stop me from returning.

It may be small but you get a big welcome! The beer was good too. Food is available up until 5pm, and it’s best described as large snacks & cakes, but if you want something more substantial to eat there are plenty of places near by to satiate your hunger. My bedroom was compact but had everything I needed for my stay, including shower gel, shampoo & conditioner in the large shower cubicle. Tea & coffee facilities were on hand as was a nicely sized drinks fridge, complete with a stock of still & sparkling water. There was also a stock of Welsh cakes in the Mason jars that held the hot drink supplies. The bed was very comfortable and the duvet seemed to envelop you as I drifted off to sleep.

Nearby parking is limited but there is a decent pay & display car park just a few minutes walk away, and over-night parking is only a few pounds.
