The room was very nice, authentic and there was everything you need.The location is perfect near the sea and the port ( marina )and excellently situated to visit very interesting sights/attractions and old cities such as Erice, Segesta,...The owner of Umàri Rooms Roberto Pennolino has on the other side of the piazza a bar called " Bar Arché " ( at walking distance of 10 meters )where you can enjoy a marvellous breakfast, lunch and evening meal. You are welcome in the bar throughout the day for a wonderful meal or a snack or just for a refreshing drink. You can enjoy very delicious Sicilian specialties. Roberto is a very good cook. Also his father works at the bar together with among others Gabriele. They are all very nice and friendly people who work extremely hard every day to make sure that their customers and tourists have a very nice time during their stay.For them client centricity is very important, they are also very empathetic and they are more than prepared to do everything for you: give you all kind of information, suggestions for activities and for Sicilian specialties. For them Umàri Rooms and Bar Arché are a mission and a passion and no effort is too big for them to give their customers a really good time. For us our stay with them was really perfect and we will certainly go back there. We can highly recommend it to everyone. Sicily is wonderful. Jan, Ann and Sien from Belgium.

Easy check-in, the room was very clean and spacious. It had a balcony with a beautiful view of the street and even a little bit of the sea.
The owner, Roberto, is super nice and gave us lots of information about what to do and where to eat or have a drink. He also owns a pub right in front of the apartment, with an amazing staff, so it was very convenient to have breakfast there.
The location is absolutely amazing. It is in a quiet area but still only a few minutes away from restaurants, the beach, and shops.
We travelled by car, and parking was not a problem at all, as we always managed to find a paid parking spot nearby.

Great location, great view, lovely cafe across the street with very helpful and friendly staff. Spacious apartment. Easy check in and out.
Its an old historic apartment building so while it is unfair to expect too much modern conveniences and I normally don’t expect too much, I want to list a few issues because I think they are fixable. First, poor unreliable internet because it relies on the cafe across the street. No coffee making facilities or supplies, no cutlery, not even a spoon. No glasses just a few plastic mini cups. The room info on booking didn’t promise a kitchen but then the hotplate sitting there on a mini kitchen cupboard with a single cooking pan and no other utensils or dishes was just weird. No tea towel or cleaning rag to help mop up at departure. No aircon in rear room which is down a long hallway so main aircon doesnt reach. The apartment has such potential but it was just bare of the little things and therefore uninviting for anything more than a 1-2 night stay.
