Quelle découverte incroyable ! Dès mon arrivée, je me suis sentie comme à la maison. Les chambres sont neuves et très confortables, tout en étant intégrées dans une maison traditionnelle ce qui permet de rester vraiment au cœur de la vie de la famille de Putu et Made.
Putu est une excellente cuisinière, elle a d’ailleurs eu son propre restaurant auparavant et ça se sent ! Tout était délicieux. Made lui est toujours disponible et prend beaucoup de plaisir à faire découvrir sa région. J’ai notamment pu découvrir avec lui le temple de Besakih, les rizières, un marché traditionnel et la cascade de Gembleng. De très beaux moments que je n’aurais probablement pas vécus de la même manière sans lui.
Voyageant seule, j’ai particulièrement apprécié cette ambiance familiale et l’attention qu’ils portent à leurs visiteurs. Je me suis vraiment sentie accueillie et entourée, tout en gardant mon indépendance.
Il y a aussi plusieurs petits chats absolument adorables 🥰 Le cadre est magnifique et très dépaysant avec un superbe jardin fleuri. C’est exactement le genre d’endroit qui permet de découvrir une autre facette de Bali et de prendre le temps de vivre au rythme local.
J’aurais vraiment aimé pouvoir rester plus longtemps mais je reviendrai ! Merci infiniment à Putu, Made et toute la famille pour leur accueil et tous ces beaux moments. ❤️

Tout était parfait !Hotes adorables ,découverte de la région avec Made,excellente cuisine de Putu ,fabrication d’une bague en argent chez la famille juste à côté ,chambre géniale 🤩

The homestay is well located in Sidemen, in a pleasant and quiet setting. The room is spacious, and the breakfast served was of good quality.
I do not recommend organizing your transfers with the homestay. After our stay in Sidemen, we wanted to go to Nusa Lembongan. The host offered to arrange the transfer, and we chose to trust him, which we unfortunately regretted afterward. He assured us that a ferry left Kusamba at 9 a.m. to avoid the waves and therefore advised a departure from the homestay at 7:30 a.m.
Once we arrived at the port, we learned that the ferry actually only left at 10:30 a.m., and the sea conditions were rougher. So, we had to wait for 2.5 hours for the departure.
Another unpleasant surprise: the ferry did not go directly to Nusa Lembongan but to Nusa Ceningan. We then had to take a bus and walk to reach our final destination.
On top of that, the transportation fare between the homestay and the port was significantly higher — 100,000 rupiah more than the price offered through the Grab app.
Therefore, I recommend being cautious about the services offered by the homestay.
Finally, regarding the room, there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom as well as a high humidity level.
