A mixed experience in a basic property

The terrace is a pleasant place to sit and dine outdoors. The garden and pool are also pleasant and nicely maintained.

The property only sleeps 3 in comfort and privacy. The wooden framed bed in the ground floor bedroom is a large single bed at best, and is unsuitable for two people. Several very close neighbouring properties are home to dogs; this is obviously not the host's fault, but the dogs' barking/whining is a constant noise nuisance, including throughout the night. The showers are unsatisfactory, with an intermittent/unpredictable supply of hot water. The ensuite to the upstairs double bedroom has a strong sewage smell. With some care and investment to remedy the above issues, it has the potential to be a very pleasant holiday property. But at present I cannot recommend it as a good value-for-money option.
