We spent a week at the Little Stone House in Lymbia and would return in a heartbeat. It didn’t take long before it stopped feeling like holiday accommodation and started feeling like our own little home in Cyprus. What Booking.com promises – “you’ll have the entire property to yourself” – is absolutely true. The house, the beautiful courtyard and the pool are completely private. The owners are wonderfully discreet. We only saw them a few times early in the morning when the pool was being cleaned – and most of the time we didn’t even notice, as everything was taken care of before our day had really started. At the same time, they are always available when you need them. A quick WhatsApp message is enough and you immediately receive an answer, helpful advice, recommendations or local tips. The house itself has been decorated with so much love and attention to detail. Everywhere you look, there are beautiful little touches, plants, mirrors, colours and cosy corners. We especially loved the different outdoor seating areas – whether you want to have breakfast, read a book, relax in the shade or simply sit and enjoy the atmosphere. To be honest, we spent almost all of our time outside. The pool is definitely one of the highlights. It is beautifully clean, and the wide Roman steps are perfect for simply sitting in the water and relaxing. The entire pool area is extremely well maintained, peaceful and private – exactly the kind of place where you can truly switch off. We would also like to clarify one point mentioned in another Booking.com review, which stated that there was no breakfast. That was not our experience at all. Breakfast is not prepared and served to you, but the fridge is generously stocked with everything you need to make your own breakfast – fresh vegetables, cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt, fruit and more. The kitchen is also very well equipped. So yes, you prepare your own breakfast, but all the ingredients are provided – and we really appreciated that.

Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like. You do need a car or a taxi if you want to explore the island, but for us this is not a negative at all – it is simply part of choosing this location. You stay here because you want to experience life in a peaceful Cypriot village, away from the busy tourist areas. We deliberately chose exactly that – peace, privacy and an authentic village atmosphere – and that is exactly what we got.

Moc hezky opravený tradiční objekt s bazénem a krásným vnitřím dvorem. Klid a pohoda, obchod hned naproti objektu. Fotografie odpovídají realitě. Po příjezdu jsme byli překvapeni, že parkování není možné v objektu, ale před objektem. To však nikterak nevadilo. Stejně tak jsme byli trochu zaskočeni, že snídaně si musí hosté připravovat sami. Není to na závadu, ale nepočítali jsme s tím. Při příjezdu jsme nalezli plně zásobenou lednici, takže hladovět jsme opravdu nemuseli. Výstup do ložnice po vnitřním schodišti může být pro někoho trochu úzký. Kufry jsme proto vynesli do ložnice venkovním schodištěm přes dvůr a balkón. Milá paní domácí byla přes telefon vždy k dispozici, pokud jsme něco potřebovali...
