Zeer onvriendelijk verhuur-echtpaar die weigeren hun fouten toe te geven
Het zwembad en de overdekte buitenruimte en de mogelijkheid tot BBQ-en
Woorden tekort. Praktische dingen als harde bedden, slechte werkende airco (was nieuw maar eigenaar had zich de werking daarvan nog niet eigen gemaakt). De typisch Franse inrichting: praktisch maar geen sfeer. En de slecht werkende toilet (ging hij binnenkort repareren zei hij)
Helaas hebben de eigenaren bij ons de fout gemaakt om na betaling van de huur nog met allerlei onaangekondigde toeslagen op de proppen te komen. We hadden 3 dgn van tevoren geboekt en konden dus niet meer annuleren. Ineens moest er bijv. €10,-p.p.p.d. voor het zwembad betaald worden en €20,- p/d voor de airco (die het dus meer niet, dan wel deed). Ook een uurtje eerder aankomen kost meteen €10,- extra. Al die toeslagen houden ze af van de borg die je aan het begin betaalt en verdwijnt zo zwart de broekzak in. Wat ze ook vergeten te melden waren, is dat ze er zelf naast wonen. Houd er rekening mee dat je minstens tijdens 3 maaltijden per dag een luidruchtige Franse familie praktisch naast je op het terras hebt zitten eten. Wij hebben dit als een inbreuk op onze privacy ervaren aangezien dit van tevoren ook niet bij ons bekend was. De communicatie van, zeker, mevrouw is uiterst bot en onvriendelijk te noemen. Meneer zou nog wel willen (hadden wij het idee) maar krijgt de kans niet want wordt onmiddellijk teruggefloten door zijn ega. Inmiddels zijn alle toeslagen, op ons advies, vermeld op de site. Nu nog verdisconteren in de huurprijs zodat niemand meer voor onaangename verrassingen komt te staan en alles transparant is. Booking.com heeft ons de onterecht ingehouden toeslagen terugbetaald. We hopen van harte dat het stel hiervan geleerd heeft en ervoor zorgt dat er bij niemand meer zo’n escalatie plaats zal vinden bij vertrek zoals bij ons.
