Tout était parfait avec des hôtes formidables, des chambres confortables, une superbe vue sur la baie et son coucher de soleil. Un petit déjeuner gargantuesque. Tout est fait pour passer une excellente nuit.

This is an awesome place to stay. You have the entire upstairs, 3 double bedrooms, one with en suite and a bathroom. The property is beautifully decorated and the beds very comfortable. Jeanlou and Cathy are lovely hosts, they made us feel at home and provided a wonderful breakfast. Please note that you share the house with your hosts who live downstairs. For us this added to the experience. You have wonderful views over the estuary and it is a short drive to Ouistreham.

Location was brilliant for our next day ferry return. Easy 10 minute drive to the coastal town of Melville-Franceville with plenty of restaurants.
The large balcony was welcoming to sit and sip wine enjoying the views. New, modern, spacious private first floor accommodation. Tea and coffee making facilities and stocked fridge with various drinks at nominal charge.
Three large beautiful double bedrooms, one with shower and hand basin plus main bathroom and separate toilet.
Gated secure parking.
Cathy and her husband were super hosts and made us extremely welcome.
We would highly recommend this accommodation. Book more than one night to fully enjoy and make the most of this location.

Très belle maison, propre, bien entretenue et décorée avec soin, offrant une belle vue sur l'estuaire de l'Orne.
En revanche, le logement ne correspond pas à la description de l'annonce. Il ne s'agit pas d'un appartement, mais de chambres situées chez l'habitant. Il n'y a ni salon, ni cuisine, ni aucune séparation entre l'espace occupé par les propriétaires et les chambres louées. L'accès aux chambres se fait en traversant le salon des propriétaires, ce qui est très éloigné de ce que l'on peut attendre d'un appartement et ne garantit ni intimité ni tranquillité.
Par ailleurs, lors de la deuxième nuit de notre séjour, les propriétaires ont organisé une réunion de famille au rez-de-chaussée. Les nuisances sonores (enfants, conversations, télévision à volume élevé et utilisation d'appareils électroménagers) se sont poursuivies jusqu'après minuit, rendant le repos difficile. Nous avons eu le sentiment d'être au milieu de leur soirée plutôt que dans un hébergement touristique. Nous considérons qu'il s'agit d'un réel manque de considération et respect envers les voyageurs.
