The cottage [ semi-detached with another rental property ] was a delight to stay in - the kitchen. the dining room and the utility room run across the back. The spacious living room, at the front, has beautiful views across the valley as does the external area/garden. We saw a dark Exmoor fox run across the pocket-sized valley at the back, there were buzzards and kites wheeling overhead, and there is a small stream just below the cottage. It was all so peaceful. The external dining area was well used. N.B only one pheasant was seen.
The Booking .com site, at the time of booking, showed our dog would not be charged for. However, we were charged £20. Our arrival felt somewhat impersonal, no meet and greet or anything like that.
