This hotel is located in the heart of Blackpool, very close to the seafront and other attractions. I booked well in advance and it was very good value for money. I appreciated the way the hotel went out of their way for me: when I arrived the maid was still cleaning my room and asked me to wait for ten minutes. Whilst this was not ideal, I soon received a text from the hotel advising me I had been moved to a larger room. This was unexpected and I was grateful for it.
There was also a fan in the room due to the warm weather - another nice touch.
This is not a major criticism but the street outside can be quite noisy due to the location.

Good location and surprisingly quiet. The room was clean and bright . The bed was very comfortable with a thick memory foam mattress topper. Tv facilities were more than you get in most and the in-house internet was really good . Staying as a solo female I felt very safe and the other guests were quiet and respectful.
There was nothing negative to say everything was good I will definitely book again

The check in progress was very easy, the room was clean and comfortable. We were contacted to see if we required anything the following day ie toilet roll, tea, coffee. It was then delivered to us. The location was perfect for us. I would highly recommend the Glen Allan and would definitely book here again.

Good location.
Room was adequate, bed was comfy and welcome email from the owners with door/key access had clear instructions.
Couldn't get the tv to work on freeview channels but no biggie. Window didn't pull/close properly and no lock on internal door, so i didnt feel overly secure. Also had a workman knock on my door to check sealant in the bathroom, didn't introduce himself just said he was checking on something, as a lone female traveller that made me a bit uncomfortable. Noisy guests kept me awake all night.
