Tolles und geräumiges Haus mit schöner Einrichtung. Alles sehr sauber und qualitativ hochwertig. Toller Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung.

Le site isolé et silencieux. La proximité de Beaugency. L'espace de vie du gîte. La qualité des équipements. La disponibilité des hôtes.
La literie. Les matelas en mousse tiennent chaud et les dos souffrent du manque de fermeté. L'absence de climatisation partiellement compensée par un ventilateur sur pied.

Our stay was exceptional. Gite de la Grande Mauve is in a very quiet location next to farmland, and less than 1 km from the Loire river. We woke up with birdsong -- no other noise. The house is very neat, and tastefully refurbished inside. We found it very clean and comfortable. The beds are soft, the floors are nice and the antique furniture are beautiful. It was a summer week with 35C+ temperatures, but the house stayed cool during the day, and cooled down well at night with windows open. Internet (wifi) was excellent. The main bathroom is very spacious, with a large washing basin and large shower. There is also a downstairs toilet. All the rooms are spacious (the bedrooms are large), and there is a lot of space in the kitchen. We really enjoyed the stay.
