Not a hotel or guesthouse but more of a large lovely Galveston home, well maintained, perfect location and secure.
The immediate pre-arrival security check was not simple especially whilst travelling having to up load various details. We struggled on the move, and maybe due to our slowness our room was downgraded to a smaller one. However the upside appears to make sure that all customers are bona fide and probably increases the safety and security for all concerned.

It was close to the cruise port and semi-walkable to a restaurant for dinner. The lack of sidewalks was a big concern. However, the streets seem to be lightly travelled so all was good. Cute historic home with loads of character.
The room we stayed in should be for only one person, not two. The double bed did not allow for walking totally around as it was almost totally enclosed on 3 sides. That should have been stated in the room description. The bathroom door does not close. There is no closet, nor anyplace to put your things/suitcase. There is only one chair and a corner table/desk. The room felt more like a converted closet than a hotel room. The bed was very uncomfortably soft. One of those beds you have to heft yourself off of in order to turn over (especially when two are in the bed) because you are sunk into 6 inches of foam. Shared dorm refrigerator in the main hall.

Location is perfect. Facility perfect for brief stay. Very easy checkin which is keyless.
We have stayed in several rooms on several stays. The beds are very uncomfortable being much too soft. This is only drawback. Otherwise, property is sweet and clean!

Coffee is good and tv w/ YouTube I like
Place smell’s mold and old. I have to spray Lysol every time . Too far from everything and neighborhood is sketchy
