The location in the beautiful town of Ribérac was perfect, with the famous weekly market just a short stroll down the hill and well worth a visit. La Maison Chaleureuse was simply exceptional. The Nautical Apartment was beautifully presented, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a relaxing long weekend.
The warm welcome and thoughtful touches made our stay even more special. Arriving to a bottle of wine, a fresh French baguette, and essentials stocked in the fridge made settling in effortless. The pre-arrival information pack and video tour were incredibly helpful and built excitement for the trip long before we arrived.
The apartment itself was extremely comfortable, with a lovely bathroom featuring both a spacious shower and a bathtub. One of the highlights of each day was opening the shutters in the morning to see the pool sparkling in the sunshine.
The swimming pool is beautiful and maintained at the perfect temperature, while the gardens and surrounding areas are beautifully landscaped and meticulously cared for. Annie and Danny's passion, pride, and attention to detail are evident in every aspect of the property. They are truly outstanding hosts who go above and beyond for their guests—even kindly giving us a lift to the wedding we were attending, saving us a taxi fare and making the entire weekend even more relaxed and enjoyable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend La Maison Chaleureuse to anyone looking for a memorable, welcoming, and relaxing getaway in the heart of the Dordogne.

I would highly recommend La Maison Chaleureuse for anyone seeking a truly relaxing and memorable stay. From the moment you arrive, it feels like a home away from home, thanks to the immaculate decor and excellent facilities that cater to every need.
Ann and Danny were wonderful hosts. Friendly, approachable, and always ready to help with recommendations or anything we needed during our stay. Their genuine warmth made us feel welcome from day one. The attention to detail throughout the property is first class; everything from the well-stocked kitchen to the comfortable bed and stylish ensuite ensured our stay was both comfortable and effortless.
The maison de maître itself exudes charm and romance, with its classic architecture, elegant interiors, and thoughtful touches that reflect its heritage. Wandering through the house feels like stepping into a storybook, yet with all the modern conveniences you could want.
The heated pool is the icing on the cake. Perfect for cooling off on warm days or enjoying a quiet evening swim under the stars. It added an extra layer of relaxation and luxury to our already wonderful experience.
