I really liked the grounds of the property. It’s nicely landscaped with trees and gardens, and has a little playground, a volleyball court, corn hole, a pickleball court, firepit areas, and the pool & hot tub. The lobby is pleasant and the rockers out front are a nice touch. Lobby & breakfast staff were very helpful and pleasant.
The hotel basically comprises multiple motel, er “lodge” buildings. Ours needed a sweeping out front. Our room was clean when we arrived, but was never cleaned during our 4-night stay. Apparently they only clean rooms after you leave :/ I guess that’s ok, but the towel service was poor. The least they could do is swap out your towels everyday with fresh. I had to go to the lobby to ask for new towels and what to do with the used ones.
Overall, though we enjoyed our stay. It’s a short walk to the Glenwood Hot Springs resorts and the historic downtown with shops and restaurants. Of the motels close to downtown, it looks like best one.

Breakfast was inadequate for the amount of people using it. They ran out of eggs and coffee. And the dining area was too small for the volume of guests eating breakfast. Rooms were outside entry.
