Great location, on the quiet end of Waikiki, directly across the road from the Hawaiian Hilton Village which has everything you need and a short walk to the beach, I think it's a great place to be. The Waikiki Trolley stop is right outside the hotel which takes you to Ala Moana Shopping Mall (also walkable if you're up for it) and makes its way to Waikiki so getting around is super easy.
Lots of great eats around also, food trucks are just up the road and be sure to find the Steak Shack also a short walk away along the beach.
Staff at the hotel are super friendly, we were able to check in upon arrival which was great after a 10hr flight, always knowledgeable and willing to help. Housekeeping staff were also great. We did use the laundry facilities this time around and all I can say is time your use if you need it as it gets super busy but we managed to get everything done.
The room itself was clean and spacious, just what we needed, balcony with an diamond head/ocean view. Very comfortable beds and pillows to choose from.
Only down side is there's no kettle or cutlery, just a coffee maker which is a shame as it would be nice to be able to have a kettle and maybe a few self catering amenities to make full use of the kitchenette area.
