The staff didn't speak almost any English or Spanish. Only Japanese, and a tiny idea in English, that wasn't enough to answer or help with some things I needed.
Besides that, which is very common in Tokyo (against most ideas that "everybody" speaks English, which is not true at all), the hotel was a real finding: comfortable (tiny room with everything needed), clean, well located for my needs, in a quiet area, right across the street from the Subway entrance.
I would stay there again, considering that there is a 35 to 45 minutes trip to any of the central places I visited in my previous trip: Ginza, Harajuku or Shibuya are a little far. I didn't mind, but it may be inconvenient to somebody else searching for a centrally located hotel.
This hotel is a 20-minute walk from the Senso-ji temple, which I believe is one of the most amazing things to visit in Tokyo. I enjoyed it a lot, and I would go back to this hotel just to be as close as I was in my previous visit.
All in all, a great investment.

Only 5 minutes to train station. Large and comfortable lobby. Good breakfast buffet. Somewhat limited dinner menu. Laundry is good. Room a tad small. Getting in and out of Queen bed was tight. Had difficulty getting room temperature to my liking as controls are only in Japanese

Crowne Plaza Chitose is about a $20 taxi ride from the airport. There is no airport shuttle service unfortunately.
It’s a nicely appointed hotel with a Family Mart in the lobby which is extremely convenient, and it’s situated next door to Aeon Mall with restaurants, shops, food court and a basement supermarket. There is a clean coin operated self service laundromat in the lobby which requires 200-300yen to wash and dry. A game bar and large restaurant with a beautiful outdoor area are also on the lobby floor.
We only had cocktails and sandwiches with fries in the bar which were very tasty and served by a friendly English speaking bartender.
The front desk staff were also English speakers making it easy to get information. They were courteous and helpful from the time I communicated through email from home till our checkout. Ryogo Kamoda, the front office manager was very accommodating and friendly. Although the hotel is under construction on the outside, we were not inconvenienced or disturbed by any noise.
ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose helped to make our last days in Hokkaido memorable and made us decide that we would return soon.
The only downside of this airport hotel is not having an airport shuttle. Hopefully, they will have one the next time we visit.
