Very friendly staff. Amazing breakfast.
Average room, but clean.
1 lift for all; stairs area tends to smell of cigarette smoke since downstairs door to rear garden is open most of the time.
I had a standard room which means it was to the front where the train tracks are. I didn't actually find the occasional train passing by to be as noisy as people had warned me about. Plus, the hotel provides one with ear plugs should one have a light sleep. I do have a light sleep and I had the window open all night but really, it was not that noisy.
It is conveniently situated, about 15 minutes walk to Solingen main station and downtown Ohligs.

The room, foyer, breakfast room was very modern and clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the price for the room and breakfast was moderate.
The downside was the location. Parking was a bit of a challenge and the hotel was right next to train tracks. Therefore, it was quite noisy.
All in all, I greatly enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Very great Hotel. We always stay here when we visit in Solingen. Great Staff who help you with anything you need. We can only highly recommend this place
