The pool was closed and not many other things at hotel. However easy walking to everywhere in Gatlinburg! Location was perfect!

The only complaint I have is with the river view room balconies. Rooms that can hold up to 4 only have 2 chairs on their very large balconies. I would think there should be at least enough outdoor seating for everyone in the room. And the other complaint is that the trees and shrubs growing along the river are growing up into the lower level of balconies. It seems some landscaping should be done there.

Hotel location is excellent and overall maintenance and appearance is great. It is an old hotel and needs upgrades. The breakfast is nice, however, the coffee machine is not conducive to allow the front desk work person to do his/her job. The Koureg machine only allows for 2 cups of hot water consecutive. Water supply holder is small consequently requiring a continued fill up by the front desk attendant.

We had a very nice time staying a few nights at this resort. It was clean and staff friendly. Pool was very nice and even got to see several bears in river alongside of pool deck. It is a dated resort but the room size, cleanliness and location are great plus affordability! We will absolutely stay here again on our next visit. We are Westgate fans!
