The hosts were wonderful. The on site breakfast was delightful. There was fruit, juice, coffee, assorted meats and cheeses, yogurt, and eggs offered, all personally served at the table. The place is secure, with main entry door constantly locked. The location is perfectly walkable and convenient to the river front, restaurants, and key sights. There was no noise at night despite the activity outside. The people outside are quiet and activities end around 10/11pm.
The room was small, but very comfortable. Getting luggage down the hill is something to note, but it was not difficult.

Gorgeous view of the Ribeira from our room in this well located guest house. The room was tiny but comfortable for a couple having a short stay. We enjoyed the close proximity of some of Porto and Gaia’s best restaurants and destinations. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was abundant and delicious.

This was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had, with an incredible selection of fresh, exotic fruits. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was spotless and had an amazing view, and the location was perfect—right in the center of everything we wanted to explore.
A 5/5 stay—we would absolutely come back.

I was amazed at the level of hospitality demonstrated by the staff. Their level of care and attentiveness far exceeded the basics. Their breakfast is not to be missed. Truly a one of a kind experience I remain thankful for.
