Breakfast ends at 11. Showed up right at 11 other still eating breafast and they refused to serve breakfast and would only off lunch. In room breakfast menu went to 1:30 so we were surprised

Extremely cheerful and helpful staff. Historic hotel with all the modern conveniences so you get both charm and all the necessities. Loved it. Restaurant was also great for breakfast. Very fresh berries, bacon and eggs cooked just as ordered. Would definitely stay again.

Location close to campus makes this hotel a great choice. It is not only a block from UCB, but the BART station is right next door. My room was nice and modern. My only suggestion would be to include a hot water kettle and some tea selections.
