Perfect getaway from the city and work. Personally, I don't mind the older decor and layout of the hotel; there is a certain charm to it all, like you're visiting a familiar place from childhood. Breakfast is good, though the spread can be somewhat limited.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. They even allowed for an early check-in when the room was fully prepared!
That being said, compared to my last stay, the shortcomings were more obvious. The safe box in the room was not functioning and the air-conditioning was not as cold as it should be(my friend's room was ice cold to the point of condensation on the windows).
And again, the breakfast spread could do with more variety.
Overall, the hotel was a nice retreat from city life and I do like the old school vibes of the place, but the rooms could use a refresh and the breakfast spread could do with a size increase.
