Nice hotel,staff was nice and somewhat helpful: we would maybe be right this four star hotel because of its historic history. The rooms were nice.

The staff in the bar restaurant was incredibly nice and helpful. We enjoyed touring the gardens. The breakfast service was VERY nice - the best we have had in Portugal. The drive to the hotel was incredible. The air conditioner was barely adequate for a very warm evening.
