Beautiful scenery and a very comfortable bed!

The property is an old building with lots of history. My room was clean and Jeff was very helpfull. Coffee and/or tea were. Available at the front office area. A microwave was also available there. My room had direct access through a back door which was very convenient for taking out my dog and easy access to my car. The adjecent properties share the history of a former military fort.

The host was especially nice and helpful. The rooms had a gorgeous view of Haines which anywhere you look there is a beautiful snow capped mountain view.

This historic hotel was a joy to stay in. The combination of charming antiques with modern conveniences was perfect. Staff was professional and friendly, offering everything from providing ice for our cooler to tips on where to view wildlife. All in all, a lovely experience.
