The room was clean and welcoming. Large enough, with a décent size desk.
The staff was helpful and knowledgeable.
The room was on the ocean side. There is a small balcony with small table and 2 chairs to enjoy breakfast or a drink watching the beach and ocean that are just across the street on a promenade.
I did not try the spa, but enjoyed the relaxing pool.
The hotel is right on one end of the promenade. Long walks along the beach on either side: promenade and wilder walk along the coast on the other side.

The staff were friendly, organised and helpful. The swimming pool was superb and was not busy at all. Both times, I went for a swim I had the entire pool to myself.
