Compared to top tier properties, I think Vive does a better job providing amenities for families, and for the beach, including chairs, mats, umbrellas, boogie boards, and even some sunscreen that may have been left by previous guests. The breakfast and coffee in the morning is a nice benefit for Hawaii.
The room size for a family of four was larger than most I’ve seen in Hawaii

The Vive hotel took great care of us and its location was ideal. We loved the service, welcoming staff, and especially the continental breakfast. I would plan to stay here again.
