The room was lovely. Ground floor and probably wheelchair accessible though to get there you have to walk through the pub including down 3 steps and along a cobbled path. A large room, wonderfully comfy bed and large TV which has access to iPlayer. The bathroom is stunning and very up to date with a walk-in shower and a bath. Little details include hooks for coats and a freestanding rail. Although there was a small heated towel rail in the bathroom ideally a towel rail is needed to hold all the towels, but especially for the wash basin. There's only a small window, which is covered though openable and the room became quite stuffy though a fan was available.
The evening meal was cooked to order and perfect. A great choice was available. Breakfast was as substantial as you want it to be and the full English was delicious. We managed to park in the small private car park opposite but it could do with smartening up and marking out for maximum efficiency of space.
The staff were friendly and very efficient.
