The staff were very welcoming and the room was very much accommodating to myself as I am solo travelling through the area. This place is also in a prime location to the main train station that makes it easier to get around the city. I ended up extending a few more days to really experience the city and the places around me. If you are a light sleeper make sure to bring ear plugs as since this place is near the train station you’ll hear the trains go on until midnight. Even without earplugs it just sounds like heavy rain when the trains go by

Staff were very accommodating with holding my luggage ahead of check in time. My room however smelled like cigarettes. I'm not sure if I was supposed to indicate a smoke-free room, but there was a small dust bin in the bathroom which I'm guessing was for cigarette ash. The hotel is also right next to a train railway, which is good and bad when it comes to convenience, but not when it comes to getting a quiet and peaceful sleep. The breakfast cafe room is very limited in space, but never had an issue getting a table. Good was delicious, too. Overall, I had a much better experience with APA Hotel in Tokyo, but not so much at this particular location. I would definitely check into APA again but somewhere a little away from the trains.
