Hotel Ylem is a hidden gem in Houston, with convenient access to NRG Stadium and MD Anderson Medical Center. The rooms may surprise you—they’re spacious, clean, and comfortable.
The staff clearly cares about both the property and their guests. The décor is cute, homey, and unique, giving the hotel far more personality than a typical chain. There’s a water, tea, and coffee station available all day, complimentary breakfast in the morning, and even a bar open in the evening.
The common areas are also great. Today, I needed to continue working after my late checkout, and I was able to do so comfortably and peacefully. The Wi-Fi was stable and reliable throughout.
One of my favorite touches is the large selection of snacks available for purchase, displayed in a charming “mother’s china cabinet.” It perfectly captures the warm, thoughtful character of the place.
A comfortable, welcoming hotel with lots of personality—I continue to come back.
