This is a nice property that has the feel of getting to stay in a state park. It was quiet and peaceful, almost no cell service so my wife paid attention to me, and it included a free breakfast that was very tasty. Except the county potatoes, something wasn't right about the country potatoes. We would gladly stay here again and if you have kids or grandkids the lack of cell reception could really work out for you.

When we arrived all the electrical power was off. Storms had downed power lines in the area. It could have been a disaster for us. The staff went above and beyond their normal duties to get us in our room. The power was to be on in a few hours. Went went site seeing of the area. When we came back the power was on. Thank goodness.
We love the resort. I believe it opened in 1952 but it look like it opened in 2015. It was fully renovated and super clean. Food for breakfast was very good and dinner was great.
