We stayed at Hazendal Wine Estate for a weekend while attending a wedding and were thoroughly impressed.
The service was warm and attentive, the room was beautiful and comfortable, and the jazz bar had a great atmosphere with delicious tapas. The spa massage was excellent.
A truly relaxing and luxurious stay—we’ll definitely be back.

This hotel & spa was relaxing and charming. The landscape and gardens are really well curated. The staff was really professional and helpful. I also had a great massage at the spa.

The estate is beautiful, the food and wines are excellent, and the service was exceptional from beginning to end. We especially loved the family-friendly atmosphere, and Wonderdal was a highlight for our 6-year-old son.
One small recommendation for families: some dishes in South Africa can be quite spicy, so it's worth checking before ordering for children. Our son became unwell one evening after eating a spicy dish, and the hotel team was incredibly caring, attentive, and supportive throughout the entire situation.
Their genuine hospitality made an already amazing stay even more memorable. We would gladly return and highly recommend Hazendal.
