Hotel Bannatyne Darlington

Beautiful period property with tall ceilings and all the usual lovely period features. Friendly, helpful staff. Hearty breakfast buffet every morning and evening meals were also very tasty. Stayed in an Executive Room which was very spacious, warm and well kitted out. Biscuits, coffee bags, tea and hot chocolate plus bottle wated provided in the rooms. Fast and efficient check-in and check-out. Would be very pleased to stay again if in the area. Thank you.

Very comfortable stay. Rooms clean and well appointed though not exactly spacious. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast and restaurant serving evening meals every day.

Does at is says on the tin! We had a lovely stay at Bannatyne hotel. The rooms were a little small, but were very tidy and the bed very comfortable. We paid £12 extra per day on check in for a continental breakfast, which I think was well worth the money as it was a great selection of food. My only issue is that we were in the 1st room in the corridor, and you could hear doors banging all night. I am assuming it’s because how close we were to the stairs/lifts. Not too much of a problem as I have earplugs, but something to be mindful of that the hotel is a bit dated, so may not have the best soundproofing. I would give our stay a 9/10 and would definitely stay again should we come back.
