I was given the option of choosing a room on the ground floor or a room on the 2nd floor. I chose the 2nd floor room. The room was well presented and clean. It had a double and a single bed as well as a sink, fridge, kettle with tea and coffee. The bedding was comfortable and appeared to be very clean. They left a towel on the bed together with bottle of water which I appreciated. The bathroom with the toilet and shower were down a corridor and the shower was good with good pressure and temperature.
I only met one member of staff who was very kind and professional. I arrived around 15.40 so I apologised as this was outside their core hours but they said it was fine. I appreciated their flexibility.
The wifi was functional which was fine for my requirements.
I was able to parking directly outside the guest house as all 3 spaces we free when I arrived.
I would encourage other travellers to take their own shampoo and shower gel as these were not provided by the owners/operators of the guest house.
