We used this motel before because it is dog friendly with lots of space to walk the dog. Rooms are clean, staff is very helpful. In general it needs a lot of upgrading of amenities such as play area, swimming pools and sprucing up the parking area. Great value despite the lack of amenities.

Upon arrival, they booked us in a room that was being renovated.
The staff then asked if I could have one room for one night, then move the next as they were booked.
I said, if you can't find a room, lets just process the refund. To which the staff member said "Are you not happy with your room"....
I didn't have one...
When they finally got us a room, it unfortunately was not cleaned very well. There were tissues with blood on them behind the night stand (I was looking for somewhere to plug my phone in) and the bathroom left something to be desired (clean wise)
Because we were on a time crunch, we stayed...
The beds were clean (thankfully) and comfortable.
The back courtyard was nice to hang out in.
It was clear that the (possible new) owners were working to better the establishment - lots of "reno" type things going on.
