CoCo Rose Guesthouse

Coco Rose Guesthouse was a great experience and great stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Property is near a beach and in close proximity to other beaches. The sound of the waves made for great sleeping at night. The property was about 30 minutes from Devils bridge and about 30 mins from town. Good distance, not to far. Property was well kept as well. Love all the native plants and fruits trees on the property.

A fantastic guesthouse. In a beautiful, quiet location. The room was really spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Rose the host was lovely and knew all the places to visit and organised taxi drivers etc. Nothing was too much trouble. I travelled on my own and it felt safe.

My wife and I stayed at Coco Rose Guest house for a week in January. We rented a car and the drive from the airport in St Johns was easy to do. The house is on a quiet street that abuts the ocean. The beach is not the best to swim at but it is wonderful to explore. We had an ocean view balcony that was wonderful. The room was large and spotlessly clean. The whole property is immaculate and surrounded by beautiful gardens and grounds. Rose and the maid Nicole were both kind, gracious and responsive to our every need. There are 6 of the best beaches on the island within about a 3 mile drive. This is the most peaceful and quiet place we have ever stayed at. Cooking was a bit challenging with just a 2 burner cook plate, but we managed just fine. If you are looking for simple, quiet, clean, restful and peaceful this is a perfect piece of paradise. We will most definitely be back!

I had a lovely stay at Coco Rose. Rose, who looks after the place, is absolutely lovely — always checking that everything is okay, asking if you need anything, and genuinely trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The place itself is simple, but in the best possible way: everything was very clean and well looked after, with air conditioning and mosquito screens, which made the stay very comfortable. The location is also really charming. There’s a tiny, quiet beach literally about a two-minute walk away, which almost feels like a private little beach for the property. And there’s even a mango tree right next to the guest house — it was full of mangoes while I was there, and you could just pick one straight from the tree! Nothing fancy or pretentious, just a peaceful, clean and genuinely welcoming place with a wonderful host. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily come back.
