Hotel had style, and proximity to the Loire.

The staff were friendly, the area very walkable and the room was beautiful! Breakfast was also very good. We would absolutely stay again but next time for longer!

The hotel was in a good position handy to the Chateau, and within walkable distance ,(less than 2km) from Musee de Blindes.
The room was spacious and on the ground floor, with access to a terrace. Unfortunately the guest room area hallway to the rear of the property smelled musty, and we noticed that the wall lining paper in the room was wet around the terrace doors.
The breakfasts were very nice with pastries, cereal, yogurt, cold meats and cheese, plus scrambled eggs and bacon.
The staff were helpful, polite and pleasant.
Saumur and the surrounding area is a very pretty region, and well worth a visit.

Hotel is in an excellent location, handy to historical centre. We booked the room based on having air conditioning, which it had but it didn’t work. So room was too hot and impacted sleep. Room had no fridge. When we asked for an ice bucket to cool drinks this was reluctantly provided. Reception lady said we needed to buy drinks from bar rather than drink our own. When travelling on a budget this is our choice as to how we drink. On Saturday morning street sweeper and garbage trucks run early so it’s hard to sleep in. Wifi was good.
