Lovely hotel with exceptional great staff. We had the deluxe room which was spaceous and comfortable.
It is right in the center of Winterswijk with a great terrace to sit and enjoy breakfast, lunch or diner.

Although this is an old hotel, everything was excellent.
It is in the most central location, a short walk from the train station, on the main square in town and in addition, the food is good and the staff is friendly.

I don't know what I liked more -- having the cozy restaurant w excellent food and drink on the ground floor; or our hotel rooms, each decorated uniquely with antiques; or the staff (always helpful and cheerful); or the neighborhood (close to the train station, where you can get a coffee at the Starbucks that opens at 5 AM if you wake up too early for the Stad Munster's restaurant.
