Great value for the price! I was a bit hesitant about booking this place at first since I could only find a few reviews on Expedia. But now, I'm so glad I found this apartment! It is located in a residential part of Venice that feels like a small, quiet fishing village.The apartment is relatively clean, spacious, and modern. There is a beautiful view of the canal from the bedroom window, which is one of the reasons I booked it. The bedsheets and towels provided were clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked (except for spoons). Unfortunately, the dishwasher was dirty when we arrived, and there was a glass vase with dirty water and wilting flowers on the kitchen table. The apartment is within a 10-minute walk of everything essential. It’s about 10 minutes from two ferry terminals: Giardini A & B and San Pietro di Castello. It’s also a leisurely 25-minute walk to St. Mark’s Basilica.I loved the proximity to a lovely park, Giardini Napoleonici. There are two small supermarkets (Minimarket Coop & Bailo supermercati) about a 6-minute walk away. Smaller grocery stores, a pharmacy, and various eateries and cafes are also located on the same street (Via Giuseppe Garibaldi). The Wonderful Italy staff were very responsive. CONS: The front door lock is occasionally hard to open. It is difficult to use the hangers in the bedroom closet because the rod is 8 or 9 feet high. The bathroom door is also hard to open and close. Finally, the shower is very small.

Great location in the Castello area of Venice near the Arsenale (the far eastern end of the city). Perfect location for attending Biennale, which is held in the Arsenale and the Giardini gardens (each a five minute walk). The apartment is also near Via Garibaldi, a lively area of restaurants, galleries and shops - off the tourist track! The apartment is very clean, quiet and comfortable. I especially appreciated the check-in format utilizing a code and keysafe, which allowed me to arrive late and leave early without the need to coordinate a key pick up/drop off.
