Wonderful staff, good communication. Keith is the best. Clean room and bathroom, beautiful lake view, long-lasting hot water. It's a quiet area this time of year, with lots of eateries nearby and a great area to enjoy nature, fishing, sailing, hiking, and camping.
Cons: No internet/Wi-Fi. The pool area couldn't be used. The ice machine wasn't available for use. The front desk wasn't available on-site 24 hours but could be reached by phone. There was no shower head fixture. The bed linen set looked dingy white with stains (I shopped at a local store and bought a bed linen set with a comforter). The TV didn't work due to no cable/internet/Wi-Fi.
All in all, the hotel served its purpose for my short trip. I'll give it a "strong " 7/10.

This is my favorite hotel when visiting the Saranac Lake/Lake Placid region. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking available. Overall, an excellent value.
