Everything about the property surpassed our expectations. The property was beautiful and clean and very well kept. The cuisine was delicious especially Kathleen's Kitchen which we dined at 3 nights. The Carriage House Pantry had the best cappuccino I've ever had and they offered a wide range of food options for breakfast and lunch. The spa was incredible and quiet with full use of the pool, hot tub and steam room/sauna. The staff was AMAZING too many to count but some of the memorable ones were, Ann (Manager) Jake, Terrance, Brian, (doormen/concierge) Katie (masseuse) wait staff in Kathleen's and so many others. I would say the only thing missing is a gelato bar in the lobby. Other than that if you are looking to stay just for golf or as a couple looking for a quieter stay this is the place! It's rich with history and you can almost feel the aristocrats there with you as you walk the halls.

Stunning setting with original home restored and part of the hotel. Ultra quiet, well appointed rooms and common areas. Concierge and front reception staff are extremely knowledgeable. Take the manor house tour held each morning.
