This lovely Casa has everything you need. The staff were so friendly and helpful.. and patient with our lack of Spanish. The rooms were spacious and interesting. The beds were so comfortable especially the pillows. A little local bar outside and then 5 blocks to the square very easy to walk to anywhere. We loved it.

Armando (Mandy) and Roly were very kind and helpful when I stayed in Matanzas. My bedroom was very clean and the food they served was plentiful. I could walk into town in 10 minutes. I would recommend this place.

Such a stunning place . the owner and manager, are always ready to help any time , and the staff are nice too , definitely they make feel you home. The food is so good and abundant. Dinner is really recommended , I’ve had best lobster ever for a very good price. rooms are very comfortable and beds and bathrooms stuff are accordordingly clean and neat and and basic supplies as bottles water and drinks are in place. , I'd definitely recommend La Sonada as the best place place to stay in Matanzas.

Someone was at the Casa most of the time which meant we could check in early. There was a noisy bar on the other side of the road which affected one of our two rooms.
