Stayed here a couple of days ago and unfortunately the evening service was very disappointing. During dinner time, the restaurant seemed reluctant to take additional customers. The bar was left unattended with no staff available, and guests were left queuing for both food and drinks for long periods. Overall, the hotel appeared understaffed and unprepared during one of the busiest times of the evening, and busiest season of the year.

It was the first time staying at this hotel. It was a great place overall but what made it an amazing experience was thr hotel staff especially Matthew. Matthew went above and beyond to make our stay amazing he was genuinely kind and had exceptional customer service. Other staff who deserve a mention is Sarah and Anita. Thanks you all we will definitely we coming back.

Esplanade team really made our NewQuay experience memorable. From check-in, they had a birthday card waiting for us and a wine voucher. Then, they proceeded to give the kids “a build your stuffed animal” which sent them to cloud 9. Throughout our stay, they went far and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The dinner and breakfast buffet was delicious and everyone was kind, cheerful and helpful.
The hotel was kids and pet friendly. The location was just 5 minutes to Pestral beach . The hot tub, Sunna , Arcade and swimming pool were all well maintained.
Most importantly, they took their time to work out an adjustment to our booking when we needed a last minute extension.
This has been the best birthday weekend experience thanks to them!!!
We highly recommend for anyone going to Cornwall. Thank you so much!!
