Wow! Just a couple of blocks from the Casco Viejo this place is a gem. Large modern apartments at a very affordable price. Nice pool to enjoy and beat the heat. Bikes available. The concierge service is outstanding.

The building is great, the apartment was perfect, the staff superbe, and they take care of the building, guests and security. There is a supermarket across the street which makes your life so much easier.
The issue, as others have mentioned, is that the building is at the limit of the safe area in the neighborhoods near the casco viejo.
There is also a soccer field and some type of local dancing that are always playing something and very loud (obviously Casco View has no control over this). There is public pool one block way if you would like to do laps as the pool in the building is very small.
We really enjoyed our stay despite the noise and the location. The walk to the Casco Viejo is manageable, just make sure you have a good hat and water as the humidity will run you down very fast. Lots to see, eat and shop.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casco View. It was an easy walk into Casca Viejo and centrally located. The host uses a guesty app to provide room details, apartment codes, etc, so it was a really easy and smooth process to get checked in. The room itself was very clean and well appointed. We stayed on the 6th floor, which is also the floor with the pool, which offered really great views of the surrounding areas. Honestly, the hotel is a very sleek and modern building, surrounded by some rougher buildings. Don't let that deter you though - we felt very safe coming and going, even late at night, and it's only a block or so Santa Ana square. It was a great stay and we'd definitely consider it again next time we stay in Casco Viejo area.
