The hotel is really nice and located in a really nice green area. The staff is really kind. The only downside is that after the check out you can't use the property facilities (pool) unless you buy a package for 30€.

The only reason we haven't given the Maracaibo a 5 star rating is that the restricted and strict evening meal time of 7.30-8.30 was a bit limiting. But that is a very small point really as the food was truly excellent - varied, generous, 4 courses for dinner. And the wine was not expensive. So I would have given it a 5 star but my wife insists on 4 star. And I must of course obey,

I have visited many countries around the world and I have not found a hotel more beautiful or elegant than this one. The organization, cleanliness and welcome are amazing. The food is delicious, the chef is friendly and the services are top notch. You will not need to go out anywhere during your stay... I will come back to visit it whenever circumstances allow me.
