It was a beautiful property. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. We even met the owner and he was a lovely person. He should us some of the ongoing renovations and taught us a little history of the hotel. He was such a sweet person.The air conditioning was a plus and the roof top bar had a magnificent view. We stayed in a two bedroom suite which was perfect for our family of five. The breakfast at the on property restaurant was amazing. My favorite was the cafe de olla, chicharrones, fresh papaya and agua de tuna. The entire family loved every moment spent there.

Hotel France has been a Guadalajara favorite of mine for years. Whenever I visit Guadalajara, this is the hotel I choose to stay at. It has so much charm, character, and beautiful antique touches that make it truly unique.
The staff is incredibly friendly and always goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and help with anything you need. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bar is wonderful, and the breakfast is excellent. I absolutely love staying here and would highly recommend Hotel France to anyone visiting Guadalajara.
