Lovely typical country pub / hotel. Very friendly welcome, room and bathroom were very clean. Good tea / coffee facilities and homemade biscuits were a bonus. Breakfast was excellent, wish we'd had time to taste lunch or dinner as it smelled fab. Next time we are visiting family nearby we will be back. Thank you

The staff was some of the nicest people we met on our vacation in England. They went above and beyond to take care of us.

Quirky old building hence the slightly lower mark for maintenance. We arrived early and were offered another room in which to change and leave our luggage, which the staff moved to our assigned room when it was ready. This was at midday service was not really expected. There was no extra charge either. Staff discovered it was my wife’s birthday and gave her a free very nice pudding as a complete surprise. Highly recommended.
