We stayed at Akre hotel for our honeymoon in Naxos. Beautiful hotel! the seaside pool and restaurant are the centerpiece of the hotel and the sunset view from the restaurant each evening is breathtaking. We hardly ever wanted to leave the hotel to eat! Food was also excellent. The staff is so warm and friendly. Elena provided us with a list of local restaurants and activities that she recommended, which helped us make the best of our time in Naxos. The only downside was that the jets for our private hot tub didn’t work the entire time we were there. Overall we highly recommend a stay at Akre hotel!

On the plus side, the breakfast was delightful and the staff were attentive. The pool was also very refreshing. Room was clean and the property well cared for.
However, here are several ideas to improve the experience.
1. Larger TV in the room. When lying in bed, it was difficult to read any of the text onscreen. Given the screen distance, I would recommend at least a 40 inch screen. You have the wall space to support it.
2. Additional blankets in the room. I called for an additional blanket on the first evening and was advised that only housekeeping could deliver it and only a couple of sheets could be delivered that evening. Empower your staff to solve problems for your clients.
3. A place to hold luggage - not just on the floor. A table or luggage rack would be useful.
4. An expanded menu. The choices are limited if staying for an extended period.
5. Two of the four pillows provided are too soft to be useful.

This is an absolutely lovely setting. It was so relaxing and a great place to recenter. We had been traveling for a while and being able to just stop and rest and enjoy the amazing views and the sunset was so refreshing.
The staff was the absolute best. Would definitely recommend this place and stay there again.
It’s a very quiet place which is wonderful. It’s not a luxurious hotel but the setting makes up for that. The fitness area is minimal and it would have been nice for a few more pieces of equipment.
It would’ve also been nice to have a comfortable chair in the room.
