The Hotel is right besides the Public Spa of Zalakaros, with a direct access (a glass bridge) between the two buildings. The Spa has access medical, thermal water pools, but also a fun area and an extensive children's area besides an adults only Sauna complex. In the summer it has a much larger open-air part, with a number of pools, slides, etc. Staying at the Park Inn comes with free access to the pool.
The family room that we were upgraded to was very comfortable, spacious and modern. Food at the restaurant was great - we had breakfast and dinner included in a buffet style - with more than enough choices to select from. Really hard to stay in shape during a stay here, as it is super hard to resist trying out the every changing food options... They also have a bar with a pool table, darts, etc.
Parking has an option onsite for a nightly fee, but you can also leave your car literally next door (2 mins walk from the entrance) in a public open air parking area.
We had a great time overall, we will probably return - but will be aiming to avoid Saturdays as both the spa and the hotel were super-crowded on that day during our stay.
