In a time when most hotels around the world look pretty much the same, Elif Stone House is a delightful jewel. It is a renovated mansion, tastefully decorated with local art. The cave section is furnished with comfy sofas. It is a cozy spot to drink your early morning coffee or evening tea. Breakfast is served (not a buffet) in a lovely dining room.
The pool is beautiful and well-maintained, with shade and very comfy loungers. If you are visiting Cappadocia in the summer, the pool alone is worth it.

Best stay in Turkey. The hosts were very accomodating and made our balloon reservations at rates lower than available in Goerme. Room was amazing. A real non-styrofoam matress . Nice linens, comfortable pillows, excellent shower, quiet, beautiful balcony, good wifi, stellar views, soft towels. I was in heaven. Breakfast was delicious and changed a little bit every day to make it good for longer stays. Just a wonderful place that I wish we would have stayed longer in.
