We had some trouble finding the check in office, but they allowed us to place our luggage inside our hotel before we walked there. We are in our 70's, so that was helpful! The Lion Morosini is within walking distance of all the beautiful, major sites. And the water taxis for the airport come right up to the alley walkway. The bed was comfy, which is an enormous plus, and the AC worked great! If you have trouble with stairs, ask for a lower floor. We were at the tippy top. :0)

Balcony was STELLAR - conveniently located right on the Grand Canal. Checking in was tough as you have to walk a maze when you first get to Vnice and aren't familiar with the way things are laid out. A stressful start. But the room was decent with high ceilings and modern bathroom facilities. However, the shower was so small you couldn't help but touch the walls and we are not large people. Also, it owuld be helpful if they provided info on how to get watertaxis. We figured it out though. No elevator, either. But we were in Italy, for heaven sake - it was AWESOME!
