The couple who owned the property were very helpful. They gave me a ride to the train station on my last day as I was unsure how I was going to get there. The wife was very kind and helped me with some issues related to travel for me as I had not traveled much out of the US. My room was clean. The hotel is located in a great area. I thought it might be noisy as it was on the corner of two very busy streets, but it was very quiet.

The Santa Maria Guest House is a perfect place to stay when visiting Haifa!
It's small, cozy and quiet, and in a great location. The beautiful Baháʼí Gardens are right across the street, there are several bus lines within 2 minutes walk that can take you anywhere you need to go. It feels like you are in your own private villa!
